Why cant I empty my bowels completely?
here is the problem. Im 25 years old, do a lot of sports, try to eat healthy food except for weekends where I drink alcohol and eat cake whatever. anyway when I go to the bathroom, I can empty my bowels, but I have a feeling of incomplete emptying--I can feel there is still something left. so I use this enema and then can completely empty my bowels. I thougght I might have a colon cancer, so I got tested... I have no colon cancer. but I have this feeling of incomplete emptying. why? The doctors seems useless, they just prescribe some medicine, and while i take the medicine, i am ok. but when the medicine finish, i am not ok. what should I do please help? what do you think is causing the problem? thank you

I use to have this feeling and I kept pushing and I ended up getting constipated (don't try)
so since that didn't work I bought some laxative and befor I went I took a little tea spoon and it emptied me rite out. I did this one day with, then wothout, repeat for 3 days then try on your own, you should be fine!

As you get older your digestion degenerates. You said that your 25 years old so by now its normal to feel some discomforts in your bowel movement. In your case I can only suggest that you increase your fluid intake like water and fruit juices. Avoid alcohol and carbonated drinks. Also, increase your intake of fruits and vegetables which happens to be high in fiber that can certainly help you. Lastly, continue your sports. Good luck!
STD test followed by Prostate check. I know you may not want to vote for this one but I seriously think it will help you out..
PID or Pelvic Inflammatory Disease can leave your abdominal area feeling bloated and full even in males. This is the same feeling as not being able to empty your bowels. If this works be sure to have your partner checked and treated also. Explain to your doctor your symptoms and ask for a doxycycline and azithromycin regimen.
If you also have frequent urination and feelings of unemptied bladder this could be a prostate problem.
